On the day that we first viewed our holiday home in 2003, a kid goat had just been born in the kitchen. The Bulgarian name for a new born goat is "KozleWe are very proud to have had six years of summer and winter lettings with guests from all over the world. We have had guests from Isreal,Spain,Canada, Malta,Scotland,Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Romania,USA, UK, France and many other countries.
We've acted on ideas for improvements from guests such as adding mountain bikes and additional patio furniture as well as some for the large open air balcony, and bits of improvement to kitchen drainage and water supply (we have our own hole now). We are proud to say that the visitors book is full of praise. We have also had several guests return more than once!

The chalet:
DOWNSTAIRSKITCHEN; Fully equipped with designer units, full function electric cooker with fan oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, coffee maker, juicer, blender and many other gadgets to benefit the cook! A breakfast table, glasses & cutlery for eight. the water comes from our own bore hole. Whilst we have drunk the water we strongly advise that you use bottled water for drinking~ better safe than sorry!DINING ROOM; Long dining room easily accommodates eight diners in comfort. Windows to three sides give wonderful veiws over the garden and forests beyond. A 21" flat screen colour TV and DVD player are on a wheeled cabinet so that you can view where ever you like! Remember to take your favourite DVD's!DOWNSTAIRS TOILET; Toilet, shower facility and basin.LOUNGE; Large modern log burning stove , three piece suite with sofa bed ( for when there are eight in the party), pouffes, tables and a hi-fi with cd player and thirty cd's from '60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to 2008!! Views over the gardens.UPSTAIRSBEDROOM 1;Bright and comfortable room with Kingsized bed, wardrobe, dressing table & side tables.BEDROOM 2; Kingsized double bed, wardrobe & side tables.BEDROOM 3; Twin beds, wardrobes, side tables and views over the gardens.BATHROOM; Expensively furnished with Italian tiling, large shower, toilet & basin.BALCONY; A fabulous place to dine or sit with a drink while soaking up the atmosphere and taking in the views. If you're lucky you may even see the resident Golden Eagle!GARDENS; A large well kept garden surrounds the property . Lawns interspersed with fruit trees, vines and flower borders lead to a large patio and several outbuildings where the bbq and winter logs and the garden furniture can be found. Two mountain bikes, badminton, a netball hoop and other outdoor games for the summer months. "Kozle" is at the head of the valley before it climbs up into the mountain and the forested slopes to the left and right make the gardens a real sun trap and protect you from a wind.The large open balcony is a great place to sit relax and watch the wildlife.There is an Eagle that occaisionally circles the forest in this picture. Sip a glass of wine and relax with the gentle sounds of the stream and chirping birdsRight; views of the garden in front of "Kozle" & to the patio and barnA characterful & cozy room! The log burner is almost powerful enough to heat the chalet by itself, but all the same we provide oil fired radiators in every room and a couple to spare as well.A sound system with cd , cassete player and radio + 30 or so cd's spanning 60's to 2008 and most musical tastes.Some books & indoor games inc monopoly. DVD player & TV Take your DVD's out with you!

Ideally located to make the most of what the magnificent Bulgarian countryside can offer and yet close to attractions such as the stunning Rila lakes and the international ski resort of Borovets which is only fifteen minutes away.
The chalet is just 50k, 50minutes drive from Sofia International Airport
